Tell me a Secret

I've always loved the gossip stones from the Ocarina of Time. For whatever reason they really piqued my interest. I mean, who put them there, why do they listen, what kind of secrets do they hold.

Of course in the actual game they are just kinda fun, you hit them, blow them up, and with the mask of truth they tell you silly useless stuff. I thought though that it would have been really neat if they were involved in a side quest, where you have to find the right gossip stones that give you clues to riddles you have to solve leading you to another gossip stone. Not so much defeat monsters as figure out puzzles, and at the end of it you would get something amazing. Like the oni mask or something.

Well anyway, Link just takes a short break from being a hero to perhaps have a conversation with a gossip stone.

Edit: Well, due to some good advice I fixed some of the coloring here. Looks much better . . . I think. Well it is more atmospheric.
